Zuccarini Biscuits Recipe

A great little snack these biscuits are perfect for having with a glass of milk at Christmas time, or for scoffing on a weekend for that matter. This simple recipe makes around 7 biscuits.


  • 5 cups (700g) of Flour
  • 6 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup (200g) Sugar
  • Dash of Salt
  • 1 Cup (230g) Melted Butter (salted)
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup (120ml) Milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract (1tsp to the mix and 1tsp to the glaze)


Powdered Sugar and Water-mix until liquid but slightly thick-lemon extract


Preheat oven to 175°C. Mix dry ingredients together. Mix wet ingredients together. Add wet mix to the dry. Thoroughly mix and knead until the dough is very very thick.

Roll dough into small balls (roughly the size of ping pong balls) and put on baking paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

Mix glaze and after the cookies are cooled off dip each cookie to cover the top of each and sprinkle your choice of sprinkles on top.
