Saint Patrick's Day originated in Ireland hundreds of years. This is a National Public Holiday, as well as a Bank Holiday in Republic of Ireland. If you are lucky enough to be in Ireland for the celebrations, why not check out the St Patrick's Day Festival in Dublin? Saint Patrick's Day Festival Parade will be taking place on 17th March from 12pm, starting at Parnell Square Dublin 1. Acts from far and wide will be performing for the great event.
If like us, you will be in Manchester for St Patrick'd Day weekend, why not head down to the Guinness Experience at Waxy O'Connors on Thursday 15th to get yourself into the Irish spirit?! Just in time for the weekend! This event starts from 7pm and you do require tickets so check out their website for more information!
Like Dublin, London also throws a massive St Patrick's Day Festival. This year around 125,000 people are expected to turn up to the event which takes place in Trafalgar Square. This Festival, now on it's 16th year, will be taking place over the entire weekend, and no tickets are required, so get yourself down there from Friday 16th to witness the showcasing of great Irish food, dance, music and arts.
