Here at Corr Chilled, food and drink is the main topic of daily conversation, so we thought, why not turn this into a blog?! As we are based in Manchester, we have decided to make a post of our favourite restaurants in and around the Manchester area. We have based our decision on location, decor, customer service and of course, taste of the food! Take a look and see if you agree!
Owned by football legend Rio Ferdinand, Manchester's Rosso Restuarant is located on Kings Street. We love the sylish and modern interior decor of this Italian restaurant, as well as the great atmosphere as soon as you walk through the doors.
The a la carte menu has a range of the Italian favourites, including pastas and steaks, we believe the menu has something that everyone would enjoy. Not only is there a great food menu, but there is also a very impressive cocktail menu for those enjoying an alcoholic beverage. What more could you ask for?
What we love about Albert's Shed, is that as well as the beautiful restarant on Castle Street, there is also a great restaurant in West Didsbury, for those nights you want a great meal, but don't fancy the long treck into town! Also West Didsbury Albert's boast a generous outdoor seating area, which is a great place to enjoy the Sun during the warmer months, and offers outdoor heating for Winter.
We actually took our lovely staff to the West Didsbury Albert's for last years Christmas Party. The food was great, and the staff were very attentive throughout the evening. We couldn't have enjoyed it more!
As soon as you walk through the doors of this Indian Restaurant, it is clear that no expense has been spared on the decor and attention to detail. As you walk downstairs to the main restaurant area, you might be suprised at how big the place is, but this certainly does not affect the quality! We love the luxurious and comfortable booths here, perfect for parties and get-togethers.
For those who enjoy fine dining, located in Tower 12 of Bridge Street, Manchester House is the place for you. As soon as you walk in to Manchester House, you just know you're going to receive outstanding customer service. Often, you can feel quite rushed when dining out, but this certainly isn't the case here. The staff are lovely, and very knowledgable regarding the menus. Although a little expensive, it is definitely worth spending those extra pennies here!
There is also a bar on the 12th floor here, which offers great views of Manchester!
El Rincon de Rafa
When you walk down the stairway to El Rincon, it almost feels like you've just walked into your Spanish holiday! The wall art here really gives you that authentic Spanish feeling, the atmosphere is great, the staff are lovely and can't do enough for you.
Although it has been noted there might be a longer wait than usual for the food, it does taste fabulous when it arrives! There is a great choice of Tapas options we're sure you will enjoy.
We hate to leave people out, so we've also listed below a few other places that we just didn't have the chance to write about, but are equally as great!

- Pasha - West Didsbury/Fallowfield
