The blast freezer is a cabinet designed to bring the temperature of cooked food down to a frozen temperature in a regulation time. This time is 240 minutes from +70°C to -18°C. The cabinet achieves this by blowing cold air over the produce to safely reduce the temperature. Corr Chilled can provide a number of different size units.

Counter top blast chillers are great for smaller kitchens but where blast chilling is still a requirement. Compact blast chillers are great to fit under a counter in any kitchen. Sizes range up to full height and with that more shelf spaces and larger blast chilling capacities. Larger blast chiller cabinets and blast chiller freezer units do require a hard wired electrical connection so please check the power supply before ordering.

If you require more blast chilling capacity Corr Chilled can also offer Roll-In style units. These types of unit allow trolleys to be moved in to the cabinet enabling larger volumes such as batch baked items to be moved easily from oven to chiller.
